Anatomy of an Industry-Leading
Yoga Sports Bra.
We provide complete information gain for technical activewear buyers. Here is how our Ludhiana mill engineers every layer of a custom sports bra.
01
Yarn Selection: Nylon 6.6 vs. Polyester
While mass-market brands use standard polyester, we recommend air-jet texturized Nylon 6.6 for yoga lines. Nylon 6.6 has a higher melting point, superior abrasion resistance, and a silky, cool-to-the-touch hand-feel. Paired with Creora® High-Clo elastane, it resists chlorine and perspiration degradation.
02
Surface Finishing: Micro-Sueding & Peaching
Achieve the coveted "butter-soft" or "second-skin" tactile feel through double-sided mechanical brushing (peach finish). Our non-chemical peaching process creates microscopic surface filaments that trap moisture vapor for fast evaporative cooling without sacrificing fabric durability.
03
Seam Engineering: 6-Needle Flatlock
Flat seams are mandatory for zero-friction yogic movements. We deploy ISO 607 4-needle 6-thread flatlock stitching with soft textured stretch thread, creating an ultra-flat join that lies completely flush against the wearer’s skin during forward folds and inversions.
04
Sonic Welding & Bonded Hems
For modern, stitch-free luxury aesthetics, we utilize ultrasonic cut-and-seal tech paired with Framis Italia thermoadhesive films. Bonded chest bands and shoulder straps distribute bust weight evenly without digging into trapezius muscles.
05
Removable Cup Engineering & Cradle Support
Our internal cup pockets feature laser-cut breathable mesh linings with anti-shift internal bartacks. We produce high-density polyurethane (PU) memory foam molded cups that retain structural integrity through repeated machine washing.
06
Under-Bust Elastic Stability
The core anchor of any sports bra is its under-bust elastic. We engineer soft-brushed plush back elastics encased within self-fabric channels, preventing band roll-up during dynamic movement and high humidity hot yoga classes.
